complete a.完全的;完整的 vt.完成;使完整

[記]com-都;pl-首字母“漂亮”;-ete動詞詞尾(如“刪除”：delete)。所有的事都做得很漂亮，就完成了、完整了(complete)。

thorough a.徹底的;詳盡的;周密的

[記]這個詞長得就是throug(通過)+o。o長得是個圓，給人一種完滿的感覺;很完滿地通過了一件事，肯定是徹底做好、做得很周密(th-o-rough)。

[注]不要讀成“餿肉”了哦～重音在第一音節，似“薩若”。

[辨]entire一般是指面積、事情的完整，如the entire China(整個中國);complete是程度上的完整，是偏抽象的含義，比如電腦重啟的時候，就會有X%complete(有百分之多少已完成)，而這種完成是看不見的，當然，更要注意它動詞的意思;而thorough是指深度的徹底。

delete vt.刪除

[記]音似“得(de-)離(le-)他(-te)”。得離開他、分手的時候，曾經的信息都一起delete吧。
