一、考試原則
1、考試標準
本課程考試參照全日制普通高校同專業、同層次、同課程的本科結業水平，并體現自學考試以培養應用型人才為主要目標的特點。在題量上能夠使中等水平的考生在規定的考試時間內完成全部試題的作答，并有適當的時間檢查作答情況。
2、考試依據和范圍
本課程考試以全國高等教育自學考試指導委員會1999年9月頒布的《高級英語自學考試吧綱》為依據；以《高級英語》（上）（下）教材為考試范圍。
3、考試內容
本課程考試內容覆蓋到教材各篇課文。
二、考試形式與考試題型
1、考試形式
本課程考試采用閉卷筆試形式，考試時間150分鐘，滿分為100分，及格分數為60分。
